A.: Ultrapure water is defined by international regulations and standards, such as ASTM or ISO. Possible contaminations of the water are efficient removed which is measurable by the conductivity. Every arium® pro unit supplies water with a specific resistance of 18.2 MO + cm (equal to a conductivity of 0.055 μS/cm), particle content of < 1/ml and microorganisms <1 cfu/l .
A.: This is the physical process which uses ion exchange resins which bind to and filter out the mineral salts (cations and anions) from water. Our cartridges use Top-Down-Flow technology for the creation of ultrapure water that exceeds ASTM criteria for type 1 reagent grade water.
A.: Removal of microorganisms and organic substances by oxidation (TOC removal) for analytical applications → arium® pro UV and VF: TOC content reduction from 5 < 2 ppb (feed TOC: < 50 ppb). Guarantees exact analytical results, especially in spectrometry and chromatography, mandatory for electrophoresis and as prevention of premature plugging of columns.
A.: Removal of endotoxins, pyrogens, DNase and RNase for biological applications → arium® pro UF and VF: Endotoxin level < 0.001 EU/ml
A.: arium® pro supplies up to 2 l/min ultrapure water (1.7 l/min for arium® pro UF and VF)
A.: Ultrapure water should never be stored in a tank, as the water quality will decrease immediately. The highest water quality can only be reached by direct consumption.
